Google Buzz (aka. Google Reader)

Every now and then I like to take on a new thing in order to expand my professional horizon. The latest thing that got my attention was the Android OS developed by Google, the system that slowly but surely eats away at Apple’s iPhone. Personally I’m pretty sure that soon Android will have overtaken the iPhone OS but this is beside the scope of this post.

This post is dedicated to my first frustration as a beginner in Android: mainly, the lack of good  tutorials. Mind you, I am only a beginner in Android as a platform, while in Java I have a fair amount of experience. To my consternation, I have recently discovered that not even Google’s own tutorials are good material for beginning Android development. Google Buzz (aka. Google Reader)

There comes a time in one’s life when one must answer difficult questions. If there is one thing I don’t like about Google’s Android operating system for mobile platforms is the fact that it forces me to answer tough questions. I have tried to look for the answer in this table, however the answer lies deeper than that.

One of these questions is which phone is better among the three? I’ve been pondering this for a while and I still have no definitive answer. Frankly, after weeks of research, I am only close to taking Motorola Milestone out of the race. I know many people out there will suggest I take out the Acer … but I won’t.

Sometime during last evening (EEST), Google launched its new product: a browser. Rumors about this have been circulating ever since 2004 but have been slowly dying as nothing official was announced.
