Summer in Cluj can constitute a direct observation of the Yin-Yang principle. The dusty city clouded in smoke and smog, with all the cars breathing toxins into you with every step you take through the heath also provides you with small tokens of beauty. That is, if you know where to look.

So when you need a late night drink, where can you go in Cluj? Well, there’s nothing like “The Club Formerly Known as Fire” to get some good time. The choice in drinks is very limited (they don’t have Johnny Walker? Oh my god!!) and between beer and tequilla, the latter is the natural choice. But then again if you’re lucky enough to meet a guy with a guitar … it’s all worth it.
