The acid 3 browser test results currently for: Internet Explorer 8, Safari 4 Beta, Opera 9.64, Firefox 3.0.10, Chrome 1.0.1
IE 8: 20 ouf 100. Much worse than its predecessor
Safari 4 Beta: perfect 100. Kudos!
Opera 9.64: 85/100. 5 more than in Opera 9.5. Slowly, slowly it’s coming about
Firefox 3.0.10: 71/100. Oh well … disappointing
Chrome 1.0.1: 79/100. Step down from the beta phase. What’s Google doing??
Follow-up:
Google Chrome 2.0.1: 99/100, almost ties Safari, although it fails the last linktest. Nice comeback!
Update! Chrome 3.0 : 100/100 – still warning for Linktest failed, but now it goes all the way!
Opera 10 beta: 100/100, no errors, perfect score, a tad slow but best on the test. Can’t wait for the final version!
Update! Firefox 3.5: 93/100 – really disappointing, what’s up with Mozilla?!

- Laszlo Tokes: persecutat in trecut de comunisti, acum singurul lider pragmatic al maghiarilor din Romania
- Theodor Stolojan: lider si politician pragmatic si eficient
- Daciana Sarbu: pana acum deputat european cu multe initiative orientate spre ecologie
- Adina Valean: acum la al doilea mandat de europarlamentar. A avut mai multe initiative in PE, una din ele rezultand in scaderea tarifelor telefoniei mobile in sistem roaming
Cei rai:
- Norica Nicolai: faimoasa pentru nepotism si coruptie, a aparut pe lista doar in urma esecului la alegerile nationale
- Gigi Becali: bufon fara calitati
- CV Tudor: ultraradical nationalist, din fericire tot ce face e ca da din gura. De data asta insa da din gura la Bruxelles, unde repercusiunile asupra imaginii Romaniei vor fi grave. Mai cunoscut ca WC Tudor.
- Ioan Mircea Pascu: fost ministru al apararii, fost comunist si sustinator al lui Iliescu
- Elena Basescu: o nulitate agramata, pseudo-independenta, sustinuta de imaginea tatalui
- Sebastian Bodu: urmarit in justitie pentru o serie de abuzuri
- Sogor Csaba: echivalentul maghiar al lui WC Tudor, un ultraradical cu gura mare, dar fara realizari.

Duminica, in majoritatea tarilor europene, are loc scrutinul pentru Parlamentul Europei. Din nefericire, fiecare tara isi voteaza local reprezentatii. Din nou, folosesc ocazia pentru a ma plange de calitatea clasei politice romanesti si, din pacate, cei mai titrati candidati pentru alegerile europarlamentare sunt si cele mai penibile personaje gasite vreodata in vizorul mass-media.
Uneori mi se pare ca scena politica romaneasca e un fel de buncar de gunoi in care sunt aruncate fara discernamant toate mizeriile. In lumina acestui fapt mi se pare de prost gust indemnul presedintelui Romaniei, aruncat in incercarea de a convinge populatia sa iasa la pus stampile doar de dragul de a arata Uniunii ce mari sustinatori ai UE sunt romanii. Colac peste pupaza, mai apar si jurnalistii care arunca vesnica tanguire: mergeti oameni la vot, ca de aia au murit stramosii nostri, pentru democratie – daca nu votati, ei au murit degeaba. The thunderball of movies made from graphic novels is rolling ever since “V” came to the big screen and Batman was reinvented. We’re not talking “Looney tunes” here, not the old “Batman” movies or the caricatures of the second generation “Batman” movies, nor the feel-good “Superman” or “Spiderman”.
We’re talking message here, we’re talking deep, dark and gritty. We’re talking about a real ‘what if’ question, what if superheroes existed? How would they be? what would the human side do? What would they fight for? How would they feel? While “V for Vendetta” packs a strong political message alongside a good dose of humour and action, “X-Men” came with some interesting but inssuficiently explored moral question. But playing ‘catch-up’ came the third generation of Batman movies and now “Watchmen” with a bigger picture about the people behind the masks, the people behind the costumes. It’s going to be a hot summer here in Romania as the announced concerts only prove it. Starting back 4 years ago, more and more heavy musical names are visiting our country and festivals like Sibiu’s Artmania and the B’est Fest in Bucharest are gaining a lot of momentum in many musical genres.
