Who can forget one of the best TV series of all times? The Canadian series Due South may look as a cop drama on the outside but it’s definitely not your typical one. The highlighting of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police remains legendary just like the character of Constable Benton Fraser (Paul Gross, who later enjoyed stage success in Romeo and Juliet and some movie success with the political drama H2O and its sequel).

Who can forget the deaf Husky Diefenbaker or the cultural clashes between the perfect gentleman that is Benton and the sarcastic Chicago cop Raymond Vecchio (David Marciano, whose career didn’t really shine, starring in The Last Don movies as well as more acclaimed The Shield series)?

Or perhaps we need to

remind the great guest character or RCMP captain Buck Frobisher (the immortal Leslie Nielsen)? Or Vecchio’s replacement Kowalski (Callum Keith Rennie, who proved to be a Cylon in BSG)? Or maybe some of the more famous names that dared to guest star in Due South? (Melina Kanakaredes from CSI:NY, Carrie Ann-Moss from the Matrix, Amanda Tapping from Stargate, Colm Feore from The Perfect Storm or Milton Bearle from Texaco Star Theater).

Having rediscovered them … here’s one for everyone whose list of heroes included Benton Fraser and Buck Frobisher (the theme from the Due South series):
