Not so long ago I was complaining about lack of original ideas in the parliamentary election campaign here in Romania. When it comes to campaign strategy, nothing has changed and if none of the candidates are capable of showing original thinking when promoting their image, at least, what else could convince me, a voter, to put the stamp on their name? The city of Cluj is definitely one of the most dangerous cities in our beloved country, being not far behind the capital city of Bucharest when it comes to driving incidents. Just like about anywhere, the main reason for these incidents is reckless driving, failure to adjust to speed limits, drunk driving, failure to respect road signs and markings and failure to give appropriate priority to pedestrians and other drivers. Every year I set myself the goal of celebrating the birth and remember the death of some of the world’s greatest people and rarely I manage to do that. The “Political Compass” project by the IEDPQ organization is quite interesting for a test and manages to do not only a qualitative appraisal of political ideas but also a quantitative one through measuring the importance of various subject versus the subject’s answer.
