Until the last moment
A breath of heaven descending from the midnight blue
My moonbeam sparkled, that’s how I saw you
Standing there, caressed by shadows.
A soft music I hear, a concerto filling the air with sound
My passion painting a new story on the ground
Where you stand, in merciless beauty.
Would you dream with me tonight, I ask you gently
Taking your hand, while your eyes they gaze intently
Straight into my soul, reading its every page.
And so we dance, beyond the sunset, beyond time
In this heavenly ocean we can find every rhyme
That will sing all the sadness away from us.
We dance through the dawn, through the sunset, through the ages
Hand in hand flowing through the history’s crumbling pages
But time cannot touch us, not in our world.
The time to rest surely comes, gently drawing us to sleep
And so I tuck you in your bed and kiss you deep
