Don’t you know
Don’t you know that when a spirit cries
The heavens pours its tears unto earth
To wash down all evil from where it hides
And give a soul the chance for a rebirth
Don’t hide your face in shallow moonlight
Drowning the soul into a silent pain
But spread your wings and let the heart take flight
Through the mirror’s glass into a new domain
A new tale stands to be written tonight
Where faeries dance and music speaks of joy
Spreading warmth to set the heart alight
And imagination becomes your new winter toy
Don’t you know that when the minstrel speaks
Even the stars collapse to gather around the fire
To listen carefully to his new parlor tricks
That make their light burn brighter and higher.
I took my tears and did away with them into the rumbling waves,
So that the heavens could not see them.
Alas, it was too late and heavens poured its rain,
Healing all evil scars and fears.
…don’t hide, nor run away, nor trying to escape
A shallow past, a silent pain, another distant realm.
I’m here growing wings on winds, letting the heart take flight
No hopes, nor fears! Going to places stranger than the night…
I fly, I fly…I’m flying into the night sky
Spreading warmth and setting hearts alight.
The Fairy’s dance is joy and her imagination toy.
The night is young, the flight is long. Come sing along!
It’s then when I will truly know how bright and high it burns!
