Well, for once it’s been a quite day at the inn, quite uneventful … something that for once it suits me just fine. I’ve decided to do my best and take a pause from drinking and other pleasure to dedicate some time for praying.

Yes, I’ll be praying to my Goddess for guidance and strength, in order to face what is to come. I took a few days leave from work in order to spend those days in prayer in preparation for my request for elevation to the rank of Paladin. My meditation was rather abruptly interrupted by Angel who came in practicing her flute, she still has some way to go until mastering that. I tried to encourage her, but not too much.

It’s still better than hearing Grym sing, anyway. Of course Dark didn’t take long until showing up and continuing his attempts at wooing her. After all, which woman could resist flying with an … well … angel, hm? Strange isn’t it? Dark is an angel, wooing Angel. Yeah. Oh, the irony!

On another subject, another new face came in today, this time a rather skittish human named Nalia. Nalia Tasartir that is. She seemed pretty scared and disturbed by something, not sure by what. We had a toast and a drink together before she took a room at the inn for some time. I have the feeling she might be joining the rest of us in the adventures to come … as she did seem the adventuring type.

As  Dark took leave, so did I soon after and I headed for one of Lady Chiara’s temples, in the hopes of a revelation.
